The decline of atheism

There are significant turning points in the history of mankind. Now we are living in one of them. Some call it globalization and some say this is the genesis of age.â € â € œinformation These are true, but there is still a more important concept than these. Although some are aware, the great advances made in science and philosophy in the last 20-25 years. Atheism, which has dominated the world of science and philosophy since the 19th century sinks into an inevitable path.

Of course, atheism, the idea of rejecting Goda € ™ s existence, has always existed since ancient times. But the emergence of this idea actually began in the 18th century in Europe with the spread and political effect of the philosophy of some anti-thinkers religious. Materialists such as Diderot and Baron d'Holbach proposed that the universe was a conglomeration of matter that had existed forever and that nothing else existed, as well of matter. In the 19th century, atheism spread even further. Thinkers like Marx, Engels, Nietzsche, Durkheim or Freud applied atheist thinking to different fields of science and philosophy.

The greatest support for atheism came from Charles Darwin, who rejected the idea of creation and proposed the theory of evolution to counter it. Darwinism gave a supposedly scientific answer to the question that had baffled atheists for centuries: "How human beings living things and come to be? "This theory believes that a great number of people in your assertion that there is a mechanism in nature that inanimate matter Animated and produced millions of different living species of the same.

Towards the end of the 19th century, atheists formulated a worldview that they thought explained However, they denied that the universe was created saying he had no beginning but has always existed. They claimed that the universe has no end, but their order and balance are the result of chance, but that the question of things of how humans and other living things evolved was answered by Darwinism. They believed that Marx or Durkheim had explained history and sociology, and that Freud had explained psychology on the basis of atheist assumptions.

However, these views were subsequently annulled in the 20th century by the scientific, political and social. Many discoveries and several in the fields of astronomy, biology, psychology and social sciences have nullified the bases of all atheist assumptions.

In his book, God: the evidence, the reconciliation of faith and reason in a post-secular world, the American scholar Patrick Glynn from the George Washington University, writes:

In the last two decades of research have overturned nearly all important assumptions and predictions of an earlier generation of modern secular and atheist thinkers relating to the question of God. Modern thinkers assumed that the science reveals that the universe is becoming more random and mechanical, but has discovered unexpected new layers of intricate order that denote a master design almost unimaginably immense. Modern psychologists predicted that religion is exposed as a neurosis and overcome, however, religious commitment has been shown empirically to be a vital component € base mental health |

Few people seem to realize this, but for now should be clear: In the course of a century in the great debate between the science and faith, things have shifted. In the wake of Darwin, atheists and agnostics like Huxley and Russell could point to what looked like a solid body of testable theory purportedly showing life to be accidental and the universe radically contingent. Many scientists and intellectuals continue to adhere to this vision of world. But they are increasingly pressed to an almost absurd to defend it. Today factual strength in the direction of God hypothesis.1

Science, that has been presented as the pillar of atheist / materialist philosophy, turns out to be otherwise. As another writer says, "The strict materialism that excludes all-purpose election and the spirituality of the world simply can not account for the data returned from the laboratories and observatories. "2

In this paper we A brief analysis of the conclusions reached by the different branches of science on this issue and examine what the next â € € œpost-atheist period bring to mankind.

Cosmology: The collapse of the concept of an eternal universe and the discovery of Creation

The first blow to atheism science in the 20th century was in the field of cosmology. The idea that the universe had existed forever was discounted and it was discovered that had a beginning, in other words, was scientifically proved that it was created from nothing.

This idea of an eternal universe came to the western world with materialist philosophy. This philosophy, developed in ancient Greece, stated that nothing else exists apart from matter and the universe comes from eternity and goes to eternity. In the Middle Ages when the Church dominated Western thought, materialism was forgotten. However, in modern times, Western scientists and philosophers consuming curiosity about these origins in Greek antiquity and revived interest in materialism.

Immanuel Kant: he proposed the idea of a universe without beginning or an end. She was very ill.
The first person in the modern age to propose a materialist conception of the universe was the famous German philosopher Immanuel Kant € "even though it has a materialist in the philosophical sense of the word. Kant proposed that the universe was eternal and that all possibilities could be realized only within this eternity. With the advent of the century 19, became widely accepted that the universe had no beginning, and there was no point in its creation. So this idea, adopted with a passion for materialists dialects such as Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, came in the 20th century.

This idea has always been compatible with atheism. This one must accept that the universe had Initially it means that God created it and the only way to counter this idea was to claim that the universe was eternal, though this claim has no basis in science. A tenacious defender of this claim was Georges Politzer who became widely known as a supporter of materialism and Marxism in the first half of the 20th century through of his book Principes fondamentaux de Philosophie (Fundamentals of Philosophy). Assuming the validity of the model of an eternal universe, Politzer opposed the idea of creation:

The universe is a created object, if it were, then that should be created instantaneously by God and brought into existence from nothing. To support the creation, one has to admit, first, the existence of a time when the universe does not exist, and that something came out of nowhere. This is something that science can not accede.3

In supporting the idea of an eternal universe against the creation, Politzer thought that science was on their side. However, very soon, the fact that Politzer alluded to by their words, â € œif so, we must accept the existence of the creator of €, ie that the universe had a beginning, was tested.

This test was the result of Banga œBig € â € theory, perhaps the most important concept of 20th century astronomy.

The theory the Big Bang was formulated after a series of discoveries. In 1929 the American astronomer Edwin Hubble observed that galaxies in the universe is constantly moving away each other and that the universe was expanding. If the flow of time in an expanding universe were reversed, then it was learned that the entire universe should have come from a single point. The astronomers assess the validity of Hubbleâ € ™ s discovery of facing the fact that this was a â € € œmetaphysicalâ state of reality in which there was an infinite gravitational attraction with no mass. Matter and time came into being by the explosion of this mass, the less the point. In other words, the universe was created out of nothing.

John Maddox: His prophecy about the Big Bang completely failed.
On the one hand, astronomers are determined to cling to materialist philosophy, the basic idea of an eternal universe, have tried to hold out against the Big Bang theory and maintain the idea of a universe eternal. The reason for this effort can be seen in the words of Arthur Eddington, a renowned materialist physicist, who said: "Philosophically, the notion of a beginning abruptness of the present order of Nature is repugnant to me "4 But although the Big Bang theory is repugnant to materialists, this theory has remained corroborated by concrete scientific discoveries. In his remarks in 1960 at € ™ s, two scientists, Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson detected the radioactive debris from the explosion (cosmic background radiation). These observations were verified in the 1990A € ™ s by the COBE (Cosmic Background Explorer) satellite.

Given these facts, atheists have been squeezed into a corner. Anthony Flew, an atheist professor of philosophy at the University of Reading and the author of atheistic humanism, makes this confession interesting:

Well, confession is good for the soul. Therefore begin by confessing that atheism Stratonician must be troubled by the contemporary cosmological consensus. Well it seems that the cosmologists are providing a scientific proof of what St. Thomas failed to prove philosophically, namely that the universe had a beginning. While the universe can be comfortably thought of as not only without end but also without beginning, is easy to argue that their existence gross, and what appear to be its most fundamental features, should be accepted as the ultimate explanation. Although I think is still correct, is neither easy nor comfortable to maintain this position in the face of the history of the Big Bang 5

An example of the atheist reaction theory Big Bang can be seen in an article written in 1989 by John Maddox, editor of Nature, one of the best known materialist-scientific journals.

In this article called â € œDown with the Big Bang, â € Maddox wrote that the Big Bang is â € œphilosophically unacceptable because â € â € œcreationists and those of similar Persuasions € | have ample justification in the doctrine of the Big Bang.â € He also predicted that the Big Bang â € OEIS unlikely to survive the decade ahead.â € 6 However, despite the hopes Maddox € ™, the Big Bang has gained credibility and many discoveries have been made to show that the creation of the universe.

Some materials have a relatively logical view of this matter. For example, English materialist physicist, HP Lipson, unwillingly accepts the scientific fact of creation. He writes:

I think â € | that musta € | Admit that the only acceptable explanation is creation. I know this is anathema to physicists, as indeed it is for me, but we must not reject that we do not like if the experimental evidence supports. 7

Thus the act of reaching, finally, modern astronomy is this: the time and matter were brought the existence of an eternally powerful Creator independent of both. The eternal power that created the universe in which we live is God who is the possessor of infinite power, knowledge and wisdom.

Physics and Astronomy: The collapse of the idea of a universe of chance and
The discovery of the anthropic principle

A second atheist dogma overturned in the 20th century by the discoveries in astronomy is the idea of a random universe. The view that the matter in the universe, the stars and the laws determining the relationship between them has no purpose, but is the result of chance, has been drastically reduced.

For the first time since the 1970 € ™ s, scientists have begun to recognize the fact that the physical equilibrium of the whole universe is adjusted delicately in favor of human life. With the progress of the investigation, it was discovered that the physical laws, chemical and biological universe, basic forces such as gravity and electromagnetism, the structure of atoms and the elements are arranged exactly as they should be for human life. Western scientists have called this extraordinary design The principles of â € € œanthropic. That is, every aspect of the universe is designed for the purpose of human life.

We can summarize the basics the anthropic principle as follows:

The speed of the first expansion of the universe (the force of the Big Bang explosion) was exactly the speed it had be. According to estimates by scientists € ™, if the rate of expansion is different from its real value by more than one part in a billion billion, then the universe would either recollapsed before they ever reached its present size, or have splashed in all directions in a way never to unite again. To put it another way, even in the first moment of existence universeâ ™ € s not there was a fine calculation of the accuracy of a billion billion.

The four physical forces in the universe (gravity, weak nuclear force, strong nuclear force and electromagnetic force) are all at the necessary levels for an ordered universe to go out and life to exist. Even the tiniest variations in these forces (for example, one in 1039, or one in 1028, which isa € "crudely calculatedâ € "one in a million trillion trillion trillion), the universe would either be composed only of radiation or any other element, addition of hydrogen.

There many other delicate adjustments that make Earth ideal for human life: the size of the sun, its distance from the earth, the unique physical and chemical properties of water, the wavelength of the Sunna ™ € s lightning, the way the Eartha ™ € s atmosphere contains gases required for breathing, or Eartha ™ € s magnetic field is ideal for human life. (For more information about this topic, see Harun Yahya, The Creation of the Universe, Al-Attica Publishing, 2001)

This delicate balance is one of the most remarkable discoveries of modern astrophysics. The well-known astronomer, Paul Davies writes in the concluding paragraph of his book The Cosmic Blueprint, "The impression of design is overwhelming." 8

In an article in the journal Nature, the astrophysicist W. press writes, "There is a great design in the Universe that favors the development of intelligent life." 9

The interesting thing is that most scientists who have made these discoveries were materialistic point of view and came to this conclusion reluctantly. No conduct their scientific research in the hope of finding evidence of Goda € ™ s existence. But mostly, if not all of them, despite their unwillingness, arrived at this conclusion as the only explanation for the extraordinary design of the universe.

In his book, The Symbiotic Universe American astronomer, George Greenstein, recognizes this fact:

How can this possibly have come to pass [that the laws of physics conform to life]? â € | As we examine all the evidence, the thought insistently arises that some supernatural agency € "or rather Agency €" must be involved. Is it possible that suddenly, accidentally, we stumbled upon scientific proof of the existence of a Supreme Being? Was it God who stepped in and so providentially designed the cosmos for our benefit? 10

When starting your question with OEIS that possibleâ â € €, Greenstein, an atheist, tries to ignore that simple fact that he has faced. But many scientists who have addressed the issue while recognizing that the universe was created especially for human life. Materialism is now regarded as an erroneous belief outside the realm of science. The American geneticist Robert Griffiths, acknowledges this fact when he says, â € œIf we need an atheist for a debate, go to the philosophy department. The physics department is not much use.â € 11

In his book NatureAir € ™ s Destiny: How the laws of biology reveal purpose in the universe, which examines the physical, chemical and biological laws are amazingly estimated in a â € € œidealâ way with a view to the requirements of human life known molecular biologist Michael Denton writes:

The new image that has emerged in twentieth century astronomy presents a major challenge to the assumption that has prevailed in scientific circles during most of the past four centuries: that life is a peripheral and purely contingent phenomenon of the cosmic scheme.12

In short, the idea of a random universe, perhaps atheism ™ € s most basic pillar, has proven to be suitable. Scientists now openly speak of the fall of materialism.13 The assumption as false God Revealed in the Qura AN ™ €, â € œWe did not create heaven and earth and everything between them for any purpose. That is the opinion of those who disbelieveâ € | â € (Qura € ™ an, 38: 27) has proven to be valid for science in the 1970th € ™ s.

Physics quantum and the discovery of Divine Wisdom

When scientists have gone deeper into the atom, he found surprisingly "empty".
One area of science which destroys the materialist myth and gives positive evidence for theism is quantum physics.

Offers of quantum physics with the tiniest particles of matter, what is called sub-atomic domain. In school everyone learns that matter is composed of atoms. Atoms consist of a nucleus and electrons around it several times. A curious fact is that all these particles account for only 0.0001 percent of the atoms. In other words, an atom is something that is 99.9999 percent "empty".

A more interesting is that when the nuclei and electrons be further examined, it was realized that these are composed of much smaller particles called quarks, and that these quarks are not particles in the physical sense, but simply of energy. This discovery has broken the traditional distinction between matter and energy. Now it seems that in the universe material, only energy exists. What we call matter is just "frozen energy."

A more interesting fact: the quarks, power packs, acts in a way that may be described as "conscious." The physicist Freeman Dyson, in his acceptance of the Templeton Prize, said that:

Weird Stuff atoms are behaving like active agents rather than inert substances. They make choices between alternative possibilities for unpredictable in accordance with the laws of quantum mechanics. It seems that the mind, as manifested by the ability to make decisions, is to some extent inherent in every atom.14

What this means is that no information behind matter. The information that precedes the material realm. Gerald Schroeder, MIT-trained scientist who has worked in both physics and biology and author of the famous book The Science of God, made a number of important points about this. In his latest book, the face hidden from God: science reveals the ultimate truth (2001), Schroeder explains that quantum physics € "along with other branches of scienceâ €" is the tool for discovering a universal wisdom that lies behind the material world. As he says:

It took humanity millennia before Einstein found that, strange as it may sound, the basis of matter is energy, that matter is actually condensed energy. It may take a little longer for us to discover that there is some not even more fundamental than energy that forms the basis of energy, which in turn constitutes the basis of matter.15

John Archibald, professor of physics at Princeton University and recipient of the Einstein Award, explained the same fact when he said that "bit" (the digits binary) of information leads to "that the substance" of matter.16 According to Schroeder, this has a "deeper meaning":

The question of relations between energy, the quantum wave functions, have a deep meaning. Science may be approaching the realization that the universe whole is an expression of information, wisdom, an idea, as tangible expressions of the atoms are something as ethereal as energy.17

This wisdom is a thing so omniscient that spans the universe:

A single consciousness, a universal wisdom, pervades the universe. The findings of the science, the search for the quantum nature of subatomic matter, have moved us to the edge of the surprising realization: all existence is the expression of this wisdom. In the laboratories we experience as the information that first physically articulated as energy and then condensed in the form of matter. Each particle, every being, from atom to human, appears to represent a level of information, wisdom.18

This means that the material universe is not a lot of purpose and chaos of atoms, as atheists / materialist dogma assumes, but is a manifestation of the wisdom that existed before the universe and has absolute sovereignty over all that exists. In Schroeder's words, is "like a metaphysical substrate was printed in physics." 19

This discovery destroys the whole materialist myth and reveals that the material universe we see is just a shadow of a transcendent Absolute Being. Thus, as Schroeder explains, quantum physics has become the point where science and theology meet:

The age-old theological view of the universe is that all existence is the manifestation of a transcendent wisdom, with a universal consciousness being its manifestation. If I substitute the word information for wisdom, theology begins to sound as quantum physics. We witness the scientific confluence of the physical and spiritual. 20

Quantum is the point where science and theology to meet. The fact that the entire universe is pervaded by a wisdom is no secret that the Koran was revealed 14 centuries ago. One verse reads:

Your God God, there is no god but God. It encompasses all things to their attention. (Quran, 20:98)

Natural Sciences: The collapse of Darwinism and
Triumph Intelligent Design

Darwin: His theory is now contested by a large amount of scientific evidence.
As we said at the outset, a major increased support for atheism to its zenith in the 19th century was Darwin € ™ s theory of evolution. With his claim that the origin of humans and all other living beings lies in unconscious natural mechanisms, Darwinism gave atheists the opportunity I had been searching for centuries. Therefore, Darwin € ™ s theory was adopted by the most passionate atheists of the time, thinkers and atheists, as Marx and Engels elucidate this theory as the basis of his philosophy. Since then, the relationship between Darwinism and atheism has continued.

But at the same time, this increased support for atheism is the dogma that has received the biggest blow of scientific discoveries in the 20th century. The findings of the various branches of science as paleontology, biochemistry, anatomy and genetics have shattered the theory of evolution from various aspects. (See Harun Yahya, Evolution deception, 2000). We have dealt with this in much more detail in several other books and publications, but we can summarize as follows:

Paleontology: Darwin € ™ s theory is based on the assumption that all species come from a common ancestor and are separated from each other for a long period of time by small incremental changes. It is assumed that the evidence this was discovered in the fossil record, the petrified remains of living things. But fossil research conducted during the 20th century has presented a contrasting picture different. The fossil of even a single undoubted intermediate species to justify the belief in the gradual evolution of species has not been found. In addition, each taxon appears suddenly in the fossil record and found no trace of any previous ancestors. The phenomenon known as the Cambrian explosion is particularly interesting. At this early geological period of almost all phyla (major groups with significantly different plans) of the animal kingdom suddenly appeared. This sudden appearance different categories of living things with totally different body structures and organs and extremely complex systems, including mollusks, arthropods, echinoderms, and (as recently discovered), including vertebrates, is a blow to Darwinism. For, as evolutionists also agree, the sudden occurrence of a taxon implies the supernatural design and creation of this medium.

Biological observations: In developing his theory, Darwin was based on examples of how animal breeders produced a different variety of dogs or horses. He extrapolated the limited changes he observed in these cases all of the natural world, and proposed that all living things might have come to be this way from a common ancestor. But Darwin made this claim in the 19th century, when the level of scientific sophistication was low. In the 20th century things have changed. Decades of observation and experimentation with various species of animals have shown that variation in living things has never gone beyond certain genetic boundary. Darwin € ™ s statements, â € as I see no OEI difficulty in a race of bears being rendered, by natural selection more and more aquatic in their habits, mouth bigger and bigger, until after a creature so monstrous as a whale.â € 21 actually demonstrates his great ignorance. Turning On the other hand, observations and experiments have shown that mutations defined by Neo-Darwinism as an evolutionary mechanism add no new genetic information of living beings.

The Origin of Life: Darwin spoke of a common ancestor but never mentioned that this common ancestor came to be. His guess was that the first cell could have formed as a result of random chemical reactions â € CERN some small warm little Ponda € 22 but biochemical evolutionary committed to close this hole in Darwinism met with frustration. All observations and experiments showed it was, in short, impossible for a living cell to arise within inanimate matter by random chemical reactions. Even Nobel Prize English atheist Fred Hoyle stated that this scenario is comparable with the possibility that a tornado sweeping through a junk yard might assemble a Boeing 747 from materials therein.â € 23

Intelligent Design: Scientists studying the cells, the molecules that compose the cells, their remarkable organization in the body and the order and plan of delicate organs face a proof of the fact that evolutionists strong desire to reject: The world of living things is permeated by designs too complex to be located in any technological equipment. Intricate examples of design, including eyes that are far superior to be compared with any other camera, the wings of birds that have inspired flight technology, the complexly integrated system of cells of living things and the remarkable information stored in DNA, have vitiated the theory of evolution that regards living things as a product of chance.

All these developments have squeezed Darwinism into a corner of the end of the 20th century. Today, in the United States and other Western countries, the theory of intelligent design everincreasing is gaining acceptance among scientists. Proponents of the idea of intelligent design say that Darwinism has been a big mistake in the history of science and came to be the result of materialist philosophy € ™ s that are imposed on the scientific paradigm. Scientific discoveries demonstrate a design in living things that shows their creation. In short, science proves once again that God created all living things.

Psychology: The collapse of Freudianism and the acceptance of faith

The representative of the 19th century atheist dogma in the field of psychology was the Austrian psychiatrist Sigmund Freud. Freud proposed a psychological theory that denied the existence of the soul and tried to explain the whole spiritual world of human beings in terms of hedonistic motivations sex and the like. But Freud € ™ s largest assault was against religion.

Later studies showed that Freud's ideas, especially those of religion were totally wrong.
In his book The Future of an Illusion published in 1927, suggested that religious faith is a type of mental illness (neurosis) and that, progressed as human beings, religious faith would disappear altogether. Due to the primitive scientific conditions of the time, the theory was proposed without the research and research needed, and without the academic literature or the possibility of comparison, and therefore, their claims are very poor. In fact, if Freud had the possibility of evaluating their proposals today that he was surprised by the logical deficiency of his claims and he would be the first to criticize such assumptions meaningless.

After Freud, psychology developed on an atheist. Not only Freud, but the founders of other schools of psychology in the century 20 were passionate atheists. Two of these were BF Skinner, the founder of the behaviorist school and Albert Ellis, founder of rational emotive therapy. The world of psychology has ended to become the forum for atheism. A 1972 survey among members of the American Psychological Association found that only 1.1 percent of psychologists in the country had any religious beliefs.24

But most psychologists who fell into this great deception is undone by its own research psychological. It was learned that the basic assumptions of Freudian theory had almost no scientific support and, furthermore, that religion was not a mental illness, Freud and some other psychological theorists declared, but a basic element of mental health. Patrick Glynn summarizes these important developments:

However, the last quarter of the twentieth century has not been kind to the psychoanalytic view. Most significant has been the exposure of Freuda € ™ s point of view religion as entirely fallacious. Ironically, scientific research in psychology in the last twenty-five years has shown that, far from being a neurosis or source of neuroses of Freud and his disciples, he said, religious belief is one of the most consistent correlates of overall mental health and happiness. Study after study has shown a strong relationship between religious beliefs and practices on the one hand, and healthy behaviors with regard to problems such as suicide, alcohol and drug abuse, divorce, depression, even, perhaps surprisingly, levels of sexual satisfaction in marriage, on the other. In summary, empirical data run exactly counter to the alleged œscientificâ € â € profession.25 consensus of the psychotherapeutic

Finally, as Glynn says, â € psychology œmodern the end of the twentieth century seems to be familiarizing itself with religion â € 26 and € œà purely secular view of life human mind has been shown not only in theory but also in practical level.27,

In other words, atheism has been defeated as well in the field of psychology.

Medicine: Discovery of "How Hearts Find Peace"

Another branch of science that has been affected by the collapse of atheist suppositions was medicine.

According to results compiled by David B. Larson and his team at the National Institute for Health Research; A comparison between the Americans in relation to church attendance given very interesting results. Arteriosclerotic heart disease risk for men who attended church often was only 60 percent of men who were attending church infrequently. Among women, suicide was twice as high between and among infrequent church attendees often, smokers who were classified religion as important in their lives were over seven times less likely to have normal readings of diastolic pressure than those without not.28

Secular psychologists generally explain such phenomena as having a psychological cause. In this sense, faith raises ™ € s moral person and contributes to their welfare. There may be some truth to this explanation, but if we look closer something much more dramatic. Belief in God is stronger than any other influence on morale. In global research on the relationship between religious beliefs and physical health, Dr. Herbert Benson of Harvard Medical School came up with some interesting results. Although he had no religious faith, Benson arrived the outcome of that faith in God and religion had a much more positive effect on human health that can be observed in anything else. Benson concludes that he has â € œfound that faith quiets the mind as no other form of belief.â € 29

Why is there a special relationship between faith and spirit and the human body? The result reached by Benson, who is a secular researcher, was, as he himself said, that the human mind and body are â € œwired for God.â € 30

This fact, that the medical world is slowly beginning to notice, is a secret revealed in the Qura € ™ one with the verse, â € œOnly in the remembrance of God can find the heart peace.â € (Qura € ™ an, 13:28) The reason why those who believe in God, pray to God and trust them are physically and mentally healthier than others is that they behave in harmony with nature. Philosophical systems against human nature always brings pain, sadness, anxiety and depression in people.

The basic source of peace experienced by a religious person is that acts to obtain Goda € ™ s approval. In other words, this peace is the natural result of a person ™ € s to hear the voice of his conscience. A person not living the morality of religion â € OETB simply be more in peacee € € or â € OETB of Health, a person who acts with this intention can not find peace in its true sense. God knows what a person stores in his heart, or what it reveals. A person experiencing peace of mind just by being sincere and trying to Goda get € ™ s approval. The commandments of God:

So set your face firmly towards the [true] religion as a natural believer pure, Goda € ™ s natural patterns which He made mankind. No change of Goda € ™ s creation. That is the true religion € "But most people do not know. (Qura € ™ an, 30:30)

In the light of the disclosures that we briefly mentioned earlier, medicine modern is beginning to be aware of this truth. As Patrick Glynn says, â € œcontemporary medicine is clearly moving in the direction of recognizing dimensions of healing beyond the purely material € 31

Society: The fall of Communism, Fascism and the hippie dream

The collapse of atheism in the 20th century not only produced in the fields of astrophysics, biology, psychology and medicine, but also succeeded in politics and social morality.

Communism may be considered the most important political result of 19th century atheism. The founders of this ideology, Marx, Engels, Lenin, Trotsky or Mao, all adopted atheism as a basic principle. A major goal of all communist regimes was to get society to adopt atheism and destruction of religious beliefs. Stalina € ™ s Russia, China, Cambodia, Albania and some Eastern European countries applied immense pressure on people religious, to the point of committing mass murder.

However, surprisingly, in the late 1980s this bloody atheist system collapsed. When examine the reasons for this dramatic fall, we see that what collapsed was actually atheism. Patrick Glynn writes:

To be sure, secular historians I would say the greatest mistake of Communism was an attempt to defy the laws of economics. However, other laws also went into Playa € | Moreover, as historians penetrate the circumstances of the communist collapse, it is increasingly clear that the Soviet elite was itself in the midst of an atheist â € œcrisis Faith €. Having lived under an atheistic ideology € "which consisted of lies and that is based on a œBig LIEA € â € â €" Soviet system suffered a radical demoralization, in every sense of the term. People, including the ruling elite, lost all sense of morality and the meaning of hope.32

An interesting indication of the Soviet Union systematize € ™ s â € big € œcrisis Faith was President Mihail GORBACHEVA € ™ s reform efforts. From the moment he assumed the presidency, Gorbachev was interested in moral issues and reforms economic. For example, one of the first things he did was start a campaign against alcoholism. To raise the morale of society, for a long time used the terminology Marxist-Leninist, but saw it was useless.

Gorbachev: His futile attempts could not cure the "crisis of faith" in Soviet society.
Then in the last years of the regime, he even mention God in some of his speeches, although he himself was an atheist. Naturally, these sincere words of faith were not used and the crisis of faith in Soviet society continued to worsen. The result was the gigantic Soviet empire collapsed. The 20th century documented not only the fall of communism, but also that of another product of the 19th century antireligious philosophy € "fascism. Fascism is the result of a philosophy that can be called a mixture of paganism and atheism and that is intensely hostile to theistic religions. Friedrich Nietzsche, who can be called the father of fascism, extolled morality of barbarous idolatrous societies, attacked Christianity and other monotheistic religions and even called the â € € œAntichrist.â nietzschee € ™ s disciple, Martin Heidegger, was an ardent Nazi and a supporter of the ideas of these two atheist thinkers gave impetus to the terrifying barbarism of Nazi Germany. (The Holocaust, one of the greatest acts of evil in human history was the result of Nazi anti-Semitism, an ideology that hated Jews and monotheistic faith that has been the cornerstone of the € Judaism and Islam too.) World War II, which caused the death of 55 million people, is another example of the calamity that ideologies atheists like fascism and communism have brought humanity.

At this point, we should remember another atheist ideology € "social Darwinism €" that was one of the causes of the outbreak of the First and Second World Wars. In his book Europe Since 1870, history professor James Joll states that behind each of the two world wars lay the philosophical views of Social Darwinism European leaders who believed in the myth that the war was a biological necessity and that nations developed through conflict.33

In contrast to the theistic and peaceful American Revolution, the French Revolution was an atheist, neo-pagan and extremely violent.
Another of the social consequences of atheism in the 20th century appeared in the Western democracies. Currently there is a tendency to regard the West as the â € € world. œChristian However, since the 19th century, a rapidly growing atheist culture has dominated Christian culture, and today there is a conflict between these two cultures in what we call Western civilization. And this element has been the true atheist because of Western imperialism, moral degeneration, despotism and other events negative.

In his book God: the evidence, the American writer Patrick Glynn draws attention to this matter, and to compare those who fear God and the elements an atheist in the West, taking the examples of American and French revolutions. The American Revolution was carried out by believers, the American Declaration of Independence that all men â € œare endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights €. Since the French Revolution was the work of atheists, the French Declaration Human Rights was very different, without reference to God and full of atheists and neo-pagan notions.

The actual results of the two revolutions were very different: the American model, a peaceful and tolerant religion and religious beliefs respected, established, in France, the fierce hostility to religion was drowned in blood the country and unleashed a savagery as never seen before. As Glynn says, â € œthere is an interesting historical correlation between atheism, one hand, and moral and political catastrophe, on the other Hand. € 34

Glynn notes that attempts to turn America into an atheist country have also caused damage to society. The fact that the sexual revolution (for example) that propagate in the 60th € ™ s 70A ™ € s caused immense social harm is accepted even by secular historians.35

John Lennon: The imagined world â € "one without religion €" has not provided a happy ending, either him or his followers.
The hippie movement was a demonstration of this social damage. The hippies thought they could find emancipation spirit through secular humanist philosophy and such things as unlimited drugs and sex. These young people who took to the streets with romantic songs € "As John Lennon Imagine € ™ s in which he spoke of a world in countries â € œwith, and no religion tooâ € â € "were actually subjected to a mass deception.

In fact, a world without religion actually led to an unhappy ending. Leaders hippies of the 1960 or committed suicide or died of drug Comas in the 1970s. Many other young hippies shared a similar fate.

Young people the same generation who turned to violence found themselves on the receiving end of violence. The generation of 1968, which turned their backs on God and religion and imagined could find salvation in such concepts as revolution or selfish Epicureanism, ruined themselves and their own societies.

Dawn of the Post-World Atheist

The facts that we have briefly summarized at this point, clearly shows that atheism is undergoing an inevitable collapse. In other words, humanity is â € "and â €" turn to God. The truth of this statement is not just limited to scientific and political fields used to be. There are many people who have seen the truth and to believe in God after having lived for years as atheists. (Patrick Glynn, whose book we have quoted is one of these ex-atheists).

The fact that the events that have contributed to this result was initiated in the same period, ie from the second half of the decade 1970 is very interesting. The anthropic principle for the first time in the 1970s. Scientific criticism of Darwinism started to be spoken aloud in the same time. The turning point against the atheist dogma of Freud was a book called The Road Less Traveled published in 1978 by Scott Peck. For this reason, Glynn, in the 1997 edition of writes that his book â € œover the last twenty years a substantial body of evidence has emerged, shattering the foundations of the long-dominant secular worldview.â modern € 36

No doubt the fact that the atheist world view has been shaken means that another world view prevails, which is the belief in God. From the end of the 1970th € ™ s (or, since the beginning of the 14th century, according to the Muslim calendar), the world has seen an increase in religious values. Like other social processes, this does not happen in a day and most people can not notice it, since it has been developing over a long period of time. However, to assess developing a little more attention to see that the world is at a major turning point in the field of ideas.

Secular historians try to explain this process according to its own principles, but as they are in deep error with regard to the existence of God, so they are very wrong about the course of history. In fact, as the following verse reveals, history moves as God given: â € œ ... You will not find any change in God's pattern. You will not find any alteration in the pattern of God.â € (Qura € ™ an, 35: 43) It follows, then, that history has a purpose and unfolds as God has commanded. Y Goda € ™ s is the perfection of its light:

They want to extinguish Goda € ™ s light mouth. But God refuses to do anything but shine, even though the unbelievers hate it. (Qura € ™ an, 9, 32)

This verse means that God has its light revealed to humanity through the religion that He has revealed. Those who do not believe they want to extinguish this light by their "mouths" â € "insinuations, propaganda and philosophies, but God will finally perfect His mastery of light and give religious values on earth.

This may be the point œturning € in € Historya mentioned at the beginning of this article as also indicated by the evidence we have here, and the consequences of various Hadiths and statements scholars. Surely, God knows best.

Conclusion

We are living at an important time. Atheism, which people have tried for hundreds of years to portray as â € œThe path of reason and science, â € is proving to be mere irrationality and ignorance. Philosophy materialist, who tried to use science for their own ends, in turn has been defeated by science. A world rescuing itself from atheism to turn to God and religion. And this process has started long ago.

It is clear that believers have important roles in this period. They should be aware of this change in the worldâ ™ € s way of thinking, interpret, make good use of opportunities offered by globalization and effectively represent the truth along this path. They must know that the basic conflict of ideas in the world is between atheism and faith. There is a struggle between East and West, East and West are those that believe in God and those who do not. For this reason, faithful Christians and Jews faithful allies of the Muslims. The main divergence is not between Muslims and the "People the Book "(Jews and Christians), but between Muslims and people of the Book in one hand, and atheists and pagans on the other. Of course, we must not show hostility towards these people, but see them as needing to be rescued from their error.

The time is fast approaching when many people living in the dark without knowledge of their Creator will be honored by the faith in the imminent post godless world.
