Thinking about buying a graphics card for Dell Dimension 4600. Anyone who still are compatible with the motherboard?
Cheapo bought Farcry the other day, along with other games (3 games for £ 10 in the game) brought it home and play Farcry past. The other games (Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield and Medal of Honor Allied Assault) worked perfectly well. Farcry WORKED, but water and sky were black. Everything else was fine, other than that. My PC has the Intel 82865G Graphics Controller, so I was thinking of buying a card and installation. Is this possible for my machine with the card already and if so are there any that are compatible with my mother that would be enough to run Farcry? You should think about buying a new power supply if you want to install a video card. Shares of the source Power 250 watts is not powerful enough to run video cards today.
