HP Pavilion DV6-2012Ax freezes while playing games
recently purchased a Pavilion laptop DV6 HP-2012AX that runs in Windows 7 operating system. The laptop features a Nvidia graphics card and has 1 GB of system memory. The problem I am facing is-DV6 2012AX HP Pavilion freezes while playing games. When I start Counter Strike on my laptop, the laptop freezes and I have to restart to return to working order. I can not know why this happens and so I need your help in resolving the issue. Please help.

Probably the machine configuration is not good enough to play. If the computer's configuration is not compatible with games, then the system is forced to freeze as many system resources are used simultaneously. The system hangs because the processor has to work hard to process the game and the basic processes of theoperating system. If the processor is not able to run the basic processes of the operating system then the system block. So check if the laptop compatible with games of chance or not.
Counter Strike is not compatible with Windows 7operating system and therefore you face such problems during the game. Windows 7 is not compatible with many games that are compatible with Windows XP. If the game is not compatible with the system operational then the game is not out or are some problems while running the game. The list of games that are compatible with Windows 7 is available in Microsoft's official website. Check if the game you are trying to game the system theoperating support or not. If the game is not compatible then you will not be able play the game.

Check if the display drivers are installed and working properly on your computer. All devices that are installed on your computer requires a set of drivers to be installed on the computer for the device is working properly. If the correct drivers are not installed, then the device will not work correctly. To check if the drivers are installed and functioning properly on your computer, right click on My Computer and select Device Manager.

Select the display adapter and if there are signs of caution and follow the troubleshooting procedure. If the solution problem does not solve the problem, you can try to update the drivers for your display adapter and see if it helps.

The memory of the computer system is too low to run Windows 7 operating system game and at the same time and therefore the system is getting stuck. Upgrading the system memory of the laptop will solve the problem. If system memory is exhausted due to the operation of many processes that limited existing system to get stuck. So try to finish all unwanted processes running before you start the game and then see if the game works properly. It also disables the scheduled tasks all applications as a starting point of the scheduled task can also create problems.

Try to configure the graphics card and then see if the problem persists or not. Nvidia cards are configured to run high end graphics editing software. What are the names of the old Windows games that were built in, Example: skiing game where dodging snowmen and stuff. And the game where you have to get the different colors of keys to open a particular door. If I could give the names and a download link would be of great help!
