Can I play Wii games on a computer without a Wii?
I'm in Vietnam, and if I buy a Wii, it is probably false. If payment and ship it here I find the risk of being stolen or to pay an import duty of 100% when you arrive. Retail selling price + shipping international = 'S in my price range.
There are emulators for Wii in the works but are not able to play movies directly Wii, since these discs are especially encrypted, and can not be read by standard PC DVD drives. In addition, drivers will have Wii and a PC that is capable of receiving signals from Bluetooth. Then you need an infrared sensor bar, for which aims to work. So basically, it's too much of a hassle to do, and the emulator does not work commercial games in a playable anyway.
