Family Game Night Lite
Recently I have seen some television. About 'family game night "These ads suggest that out to buy some new games and video games to play with the family once a week for family night game. I see nothing wrong with this idea. I loved playing games table, when I was a child (which was before the advent of video games by the way). But do not forget the games with regular playing cards and regular dice, classic games who have played and enjoyed for years. Including some of these games at night family game to add variety to a small additional cost.
When I think of my childhood, I remember having fun playing board games and bought in a store card games that were popular at that time. But I also remember with affection, when my family went camping and we sat around the picnic table on the night playing cribbage in the light of a kerosene lamp. My wife takes care of the times as a child and went to his grandmother's house and played basket all afternoon. And when I was in college, I liked to play Hearts and Oh Bah with my college friends.
Like many card games you remember playing as a child? War and Memory, and Go Fish and Crazy Eights. And may have played Authors and Old Maid cards printed using specifically for games, but both can be played with regular playing cards. And may have played the dice game close the box using a special box with numbered tiles on the hinges, but you can substitute the letters of the tiles. Instead of closing the box, he turns the cards. And you can play the dice game Yacht, the free version of a dice game with similar names, with five dice and a score sheet available.
I think in this day and age of computers and video games, people tend to forget times simple as a game of Hearts could bring a group of people for an afternoon of conversation and refreshments and entertainment. It is somewhat ironic that the heart is a game that most people can find in the Games folder on your computer. You can play against three computer opponents, but you can not ask "How was your day? "and expect a response from any of them.
Go to a bookstore or library and pick up a book of rules. Or search the Internet for 'Dice Game rules "card game rules' or'. Refresher of the rules of a card or a dice game that you like, but I have not played for a long time. Or learn the rules of an unfamiliar game that looks interesting. Then take the game for family game night.
You can even try a Game Lite family night 'in which there were a couple of decks of cards and dice half dozen on the table and no play, except the classic card and dice games. Who knows, family may request game "lite family night" once a month.

How often have game night family?
What is your favorite board game? What is the favorite board game of their children? We have family (this includes siblings, cousins) game night 2-3 times a month. My favorite game is Guesstures. Both my girls love Candyland. Iknowyou-mmmmkay!
Every Monday night we have a family and we each take turns choosing the game or games that we play together ... (2 adults and 3 children) bowling bowl us ($ 5 set of Walmart) Candyland, Shoots and Ladders go fish, etc. On holidays the whole family gets together and plays with and without children ... (many people) ~ ~ Duck with young fruit basket goose duck fish go apples to apples, etc. Parents ~ ~ Just 10 blocks phase one guesstures mad gab nonsense pictonary apples, etc.
