buying a Japanese PS2. need help?
OK what I have done some research on getting a Japanese PS2 so you can play your games. * PlayStation2 console Charcoal Black * 100-240V power cord (UK plug) * AV cable * Dual Shock 2 Controller * These Instructions are the elements in the table if I were to purchase one. I live in the U.S. and wondered if the voltage is the right kind because it says UK Plug with her. this is a version Japanese for the UK? or Do I need a converter? any help is appreciated.
Japan uses 100v outlets and the U.S. used 120 points sale. The Hz may be different. In any case, you'll need a converter no matter what region the PS2 is so I do not think there is a universal PSU as the PS3 does. Moreover, America can not play unless you have a mod chip installed in your motherobard. Unless you do that you can only play Japanese games.
