what programming and assembly languages Do I need to master to build an intelligent robotic buggy?
I like to build a buggy tiny cameras as eyes that are fed live footage back to say that my computer from where you could use a joypad / joystick or even the 'w, a, s, d 'keys to move the robot - and I want them equipped with an audio capture device oboard so I can hear what's going on around him and a built in thermostat that sends digitally, the temeperature out would be nice. To date, I have almost no knowledge in building robots and stuff, but what about me or offer advice, if youre someone in this kind of thing and have implemented a robot? Obviously going to be wirelessly control, so maybe we'd have to fit some type of antenna that picks up signals sent to it, id like to be able to control the thing was in my front or back of the garden, while im sitting at home, either upstaisr or down. I should read up on this a little, there a book you recommend, places, etc?
I I would say start with something like this teacher http://www.tinmanrobotics.com/EZRCTank.html to electronic and mechanical skills you need. then enter in robotics hobby to master the basics of the software. Then when you feel comfortable 'upgrade' of the camera platform for autonomous operation using the microcontroller who studied in the second step. All in all it could be someting as you described in a few weeks.
