How can download and add aircraft to Microsoft Flight Simulator X?
I have the level of the download now and not sure what to do next that. Is there someone there who can help and has done this before? Thanks
1) After downloading, unzip the. Zip folder so you can see everything its contents. 2) Read the "Readme" file that came with it (which should open in MS Notepad). If instructions are not clear for you, try this: 1) If you downloaded a complete aircraft model (not just textures) should not be a model of a folder, a folder panel, folder, audio, 1 or more folders of textures, aircraft file, a. air and perhaps some reference files. 2) Make a new folder on your desktop and name the name of the aircraft. 3) Move or copy all files and folders to the new folder you just created. 4) If the aircraft is a helicopter, go to C: \ Program Files \ Microsoft Games Program \ Microsoft Flight Simulator X \ SimObjects \ Rotorcraft and move or copy the new folder there. 5) If the aircraft is a fixed wing, go to C: \ Program Files \ Microsoft Games \ Microsoft Flight Simulator X \ SimObjects \ Airplanes and move or copy the new folder there.
