Why does not my USB port adapter work with control panel?
My Dell OptiPlex has two USB ports on the front, which is good because it would not have to reach around the back to insert a USB disk (it's hard because I have carpal tunnel). Ergonomic Keyboard 'W' has two blades - one for keys, one for the touch screen. I hit them two to one adapter that would only have to use a port in front, but it only works the keyboard, mouse pad will not work. So now I have to use both ports for the keyboard only. Now I have yet to compression behind the computer to achieve unity removable in finally saved money for an expensive (for me anyway) team and I thought at least I get some high end features. Any idea? The adapter came without the software and said he did not need any.
Well my friend, first you need to see what the power requirements for the keyboard and touchpad. Some peripherals require USB 2.0 ports, so if you use two to an adapter that is sharing the power of the USB port on the 2 peripheral so we suggest that to obtain a USB hub with external power supply.
