Well, if you do not have anything that has bluetooth and not prone to any device Bluetooth, then it probably is not worth paying extra for it (although if you want to buy laptop comes with it then you can not always use). Bluetooth is a low-power, short-range wireless interface that is designed to handle things like keyboards, mice, headphones, along with the transfer data between mobile phones and PDAs. It's not as fast as Wi-Fi, but uses less energy (as low power devices do not run your batteries dead as quickly).
