I have a new desktop I built and I need a monitor. I have a VGA cable to use. How can I change the setting to have it as a monitor for the desktop? Is this possible?
No, not possible. Never has seen a laptop with a VGA input - If the laptop has a VGA connector to all, is a way to connect your laptop to an external monitor. Monitors are very cheap, however, especially if you only need a laptop monitor, which would be 17 "or less.
