Are all pc tft monitors high definition?
I have a DVI cable and I'm about to buy a 19 inch TFT monitor. my graphics card is nvidia 7300 geoforce go I'll be able to view HD movies? and play my 360 games in high definition with a VGA cable? The monitor has a DVI connector
They are in a sense. They can display images at the definition above makes technically HD, but HD resolution most common are 420p (720x480), 720p (oi) (1280x720), 1080p (oi) (1920x1080). All these methods have a 16:9 (or wide screen). The Xbox 360 (by the time) broadcasts a signal of 720p (1280x720 that is) unless your monitor is widescreen, then you should be fine, but most 19-inch monitors have an aspect ratio of 6:3 (or fullscreen). If you want to set the monitor at 720p then it will be long (at least it does on a CRT). So if you a 16:9 monitor then are fine and good to go but if it is 6:3 then it will be stretched and look bad. You could technically play 360 games (And movies) without setting to 720p but will have black bars at the top and bottom (like watching a DVD with a 16:9 SDTV). But it is better to run at 720p. I do not know if the makes some sense, but I hope that answers your question.
