ViewSonic goes on a spree of launching new PC products
Today entered the PC ViewSonic segment with a series of new releases including netbooks, notebooks, mini PCs and portable music players. ViewSonic plans to expand its market in India much further by establishing a data base of operation, and have already begun to establish warehouses and billing.
Among the products launched today its new range of portable ViewBooks ViewSonic dubs. The Viewbook is available in different configurations, the Viewbook 120, the Viewbook 130, 140 and Pro Viewbook Viewbook.
The 120 Viewbook is a 12.1 "laptop widescreen with a Celeron processor, 2GB RAM and 250GB HDD. It comes with the usual card reader and a 1.3MP webcam, and proclaims a multi-touch trackpad that allows take advantage of Windows 7 Home Premium comes installed. It weighs 1.5kgs.
The Viewbook 130 and 140 with 13.3 "screens and 14" respectively. Apart from the screen size, are similar in configuration with a Core 2 Duo processor, 2 GB of RAM and 320 GB hard one. Like the 120, comes with a card reader, a webcam, a multitouch trackpad, and Windows 7 Home Premium. Both come with VGA and HDMI connectors.
The Viewbook Pro has the same configuration as the Viewbook 130, however, offers some additional features. First and foremost is the inclusion of an 8X DVD burner, which is hot swappable. The unit can be removed without tools, and replaced with an additional battery that extends the power supply for 8 hours to 12 hours. The Viewbook Pro also features a fingerprint sensor for added security.
The new laptops are launched ViewSonic NetBook 100 and 101, both of which are very similar in characteristics. The VNB NetBook 100 boasts a range of 10 "display with a resolution of 1024x600. It runs on an Intel Atom N270 Processor 1.6GHz with 1GB of RAM, 160 GB hard drive. The netbooks come with a 1.3MP webcam, a 5-in-one card reader and a standard touchpad. The 101 comes with an Intel Atom N280 faster 1.66GHz processor and a multi touch touchpad. Netbooks with Windows XP Home rejecting the new Windows 7.
ViewSonic has also launched a range of MiniPCs, the mini PC 120, 132 and 550. These are essentially PCs with a very compact form factors.
The mini PC 120 offers a design compact and can actually be mounted behind a monitor. It offers a configuration similar to the NetBook 100, but allows an expansion up to 2 GB of RAM. Like the netbooks, comes with Windows XP Home.

Is this a good deal? A Karthick Rs 25,000 you will not get any good team like this. I have xp. and all these parts are assembled. Also, since I live in India all these parts are costing 30% above its price in the U.S.. eg gtx 280 costs $ 1500 here:-D! That cost is only for extreme graphics cards. I'm certainly no end game.
