TTC for 6 months without luck ...?
I was 19 weeks pregnant when they learned that the baby had fetal abnormalities. Gastroschesis and heart inclined with a small hole in the wall of the heart. At 22 weeks the baby hadnt grown since 19wks and the doctors thought it was detrimental to maintaining pregnancy. I have a 4 year old daughter from a previous relationship and my husband and I were just trying to concieve for 2 months and became pregnant. I am afraid that abortion soiled something and I will never get pregnant ... nobody has had the same problem??? I feel depressed and every month when my period starts. Please any advice or words of wisdom ... now we are using the digital monitor their fertility our 1st month it ...
OK take a deep breath .... I had to have a D & E, which is an abortion because there were anomalies, and so I naturally would have aborted if they had not done before. My gynecologist told me I should not have a problem of becoming pregnant and maintaining pregnancy after. I was already 44 and I had to use fertility drugs and being inseminated to get pregnant the first time. I know how you feel when you start your period. We had the same problem for 6 months to deal with the cost of fertility drugs and blood tests and so on. It's difficult. However, the general rule is that children under 35, should be a year of trying, of course, before going to a fertility doctor and 6 months if over 35 years. So time, you, give you a chance. Secondary infertility, or inability to get pregnant after not having a problem the first time, it is not uncommon, but given first year. So if it has not happened then, ask your gynecologist to refer you to someone. Good luck.
