I have and Xbox 360 using Mad Catz HDMI Conversion Kit and HDMI output and optical outputs. HP w2408h monitor with a VGA connection, HDMI in, audio and USB in Altec Lansing ADA745 4.1 with THX certification, speakers with 2 connectors (like the tip of the headset) that has a converter to reach 1 Jack. A PC using the ASUS K8N-E Deluxe motherboard that supports 7.1 has an S / PDIF, rear speaker, side speaker, sub woofer center port, line in port, line out port, microphone port. question, how can I make my xbox 360 to the sound output of my speakers and headphones. I connect my xbox 360 to the HP monitor via HDMI and only has sound integrated speakers, HP. I want to leave of my speakers or headphones. Anybody know the settings for this? Kudos to those who can solve this problem. I will consider getting adapters or other peripherals make the best of this installation. To the extent that it is so expensive. Thanks in advance.
optical audio from a digital medium, and headphone jacks are analog, you need a fairly complex and expensive configuration to convert the signal. that would be much easier if I had RCA Mad Catz, but unfortunately not.
