Help choosing this 22 "monitors, plz ....?
I'm upgrading my monitor, a Dell 8 years 12''CRT (;_;) to a high definition 22''LCD GLORIA! (^,,,^) And to my TV. The MV220 Megavision: DVI-D, Component, VGA Contrast: 1000:1 Weather of 5 ms Brightness: 300 cd / m² 1680x1050 WSXGA + international price: $ 289.99 The Westinghouse LCM-22w2: component, DVI-D, S-Video, Composite Contrast: 700:1 Response Time: 5 ms Brightness: 280 cd / m² 1680x1050 WSXGA Wide Price: $ 269.99 I connect my Wii, DVD and use DVD as a TV tuner with two monitors. The Westinghouse have more inputs and is cheaper but have less contrast and brightness, I buy the Westinghouse or CITV? They commented positively on TigerDirect.com
I have the Westinghouse and good, but the "Megavisión" (WTF?) Has higher specifications. It supposedly shows 16.7 million colors that make a complete 8-bit panel, compared with the Westie, has 16.2M colors (6 bit dithered). The blur Westhinghouse temporary uses, not causes the spacecraft to be blurred and it is assumed that compare favorably with 8-bit panels. However, an 8 bit panel track will still be better when it comes of color reproduction. Personally, I do not know what I would go with "I have a LCM-22w2 on sale on Black Friday.
