The Dell Latitude D800 AC Adapter is a square metal box usually found at the top back of the computer case and is easily identifiable by the cooling fan and power cord receptacle on the back of the box. Is there a new dell laptop adapter or USB hard drives SATA?
We use a lot of Dell laptops, the Latitude D420 D430 is so that I would be able to hook a SATA-USB adapter I have to retrieve the data at times. But only the connector on the unit seems to be a ribbon cable that runs on the board. Is there a way to turn this into a standard SATA connector in any way?
You can buy this type of adapter on Ebay. Try searching by "1.8 adapter unit." You can choose the best solution for what you need - I still prefer the 3.5 IDE.
