21st Century Technology and small business owners
When I received my degree in marketing 10 years ago, courses do not include classes for types of marketing media that are available today. Having a website was not as important then as it is today. Although there were computer classes, how to design and build a website not included in the program. How to create effective email campaigns for marketing and design of newsletters not being taught. The choice of marketing strategies for 10 years, included distribution of flyers, word of mouth, radio and television advertising, publication newspaper advertisements, Yellow Page ads and sales letters. Technology has changed the way business owners of the 21st century (OIA) marketing their products and services, as well as their choice of communication tools.
Today, 21st Century owners of small business strategies marketing campaigns including e-mail marketing, e-newsletters, Google AdWords, writing articles and blogs, participate in forums markets stations, and online networking, to name a few. However, word of mouth is still the most effective and efficient means of marketing. If a small company has a budget large enough, some of the marketing strategies and media of yesterday can still be used. Technology, however, has leveled the playing field. Small business owners have the option of online marketing, which is less expensive than traditional offline methods.
Technology has also changed the way businesses communicate. Ten years ago, the only options are mail, fax and telephone. Now, a 21st Century small business or large corporations are the options for Skype, email, computer digital camera (webcam), teleconference or virtual meetings, video e-mail, instant messaging (IM), GoToMeeting and GoToMyPC. Skype is software that lets you use the Internet, headphones or speakers and a microphone to another telephone calls worldwide. With the e-mail software, documents can be sent between recipients as email attachments. Webcam and the Internet are used to perform teleconferences or virtual meetings between two or more persons. Webcam is also used for creating videos for video e-mails. IM is real-time conversation between two or more persons by the written text and the Internet. Yahoo and MSN offer the instant messaging software. 21st owners Small century business have the ability to schedule and attend online meetings with GoToMeeting software and the Internet. Using GoToMyPC, a business owner is able to access your PC from anywhere through a Web browser or wireless device. Also, if the owner has a virtual administrative assistant who needs access to its de desktop to perform certain administrative tasks, the wizard will be able to with GoToMyPC software.
Thus, technology has made it possible to have administrative SBO assistance without the person being present in their offices. These administrative assistants are known as Virtual Assistants. The technology allows administrative assistants to provide their services virtually. Virtual assistants are business owners too, so they are able to anticipate the needs of the business owner, that make the working relationship beneficial and feasible.
21th Century technology has provided small business owners the ability to operate similar to large corporations. SBO can now afford to market their products and services. In addition, your budget can accommodate retain the services of an Assistant Virtual, which will cost less than hiring an administrative assistant at the site. In the past 10 years much has changed in the 21st century owners of small marketing business conduct and choices of communication tools that are available because of technology.

how to connect two Bluetooth headsets and walkie walike through a computer?
I have a Bluetooth headset from Sony Ericsson and wanted connect through a Bluetooth enabled laptop as a walkie talkie. The computer can act as a base and the head fixed and walkie talkies. Alternatively You can use two sets of head while Skype or chat online on MSN? Thank you!
Do not think the computer will be synchronized with multiple headphones, at a time. As far as I know, no, definitely no way to use them as walkie talkies with a computer.
