The speaker on the left in my Logitech USB Headset does not play sound. How can I make it work?

Any one of 3 things could have happened: a) the headset plug into the computer may be loose. b) The connection to the speaker the left may be loose, broken. c) The earpiece speaker is defective. In the last 2 cases, you may have to take the handset back to the store and ask to be replaced. Try to ensure that all cables are securely connected and that no obvious cracks anywhere before asking to be replaced.
