Understanding Microphone Specifications Headset?
I am thinking of buying a new headset and I'm on a budget so I know what I'm buying before buying i. Im trying to understand the specifications that come with a headset. Microphone example below: - Type: 10mm Electrets Condenser - Directivity: Noise Canceling - Impedance: Low - Sensitivity:-58dB 3dB - Frequency response: 30-16,000 Hz - Standard Operating Voltage: 5V What I am particularly interested in dB better sensitivity is lower or higher PP and how it relates to the frequency response. In turn, how this schedule affect the quality of the microphone.
If your buying a headset for general use would not be too buried in actual specifications. Any good headset is around £ 10 to £ 15 and would be sufficient for what we do in general. When I bought mine, which costs about £ 12.50 from Argos a couple of years ago and do very widely what I want.
