memory loss? / Freezing applications?
important issues with some of my processes in task manager, ending when arent you should be and are eating way too much memory you should use. especially when the game runescape i play (a Java-based browser that runs out) java does not quit when I close out it was. stays on task manager and use over 200,000 k of memory. same with firefox, if I close here seems to build report the other day I was at 450,000 k. and my keyboard has a small LCD screen that uses 15k of memory perhaps. is at 230,000 k in task manager. Is there any way to fix this. im running XP Home SP3 if that helps. my java is up to date on v6 update 14. and I am the firefox 3.0.11
Firefox is recommended that you quit anyway as some of the additional memory loss. That's a known problem. Some games do the same. Registration does not cause this problem.
