Guidance on the disposal of the Dell Inspiron 1545 Keyboard
Remove the Dell Inspiron 1545 Keyboard steps:
1 Turn off the laptop.
2 Disconnect Portable AC adapter and modem and network cables.
3 Turn your notebook over so the bottom is facing up.
4 Remove the battery.
5 Turn the laptop that the top is up.
6 Open the LCD panel to the normal viewing position.
7 Insert the small flat bladed screwdriver in the lower right corner of the keyboard cover and gently lifting. Inserting a piece of cloth between the screwdriver and keyboard and Dell Inspiron 1545 notebook case will help prevent damage to your laptop.
8 Remove the bezel on your laptop. You will hear the sounds small break as the bezel comes away from your laptop. Be careful not to break the tabs are on the left side of the bezel.
9 With a small Phillips screwdriver, remove the four screws on Dell Inspiron 1545 keyboard and put them in a safe place.
10 Lift the rear edge of the Dell keyboard, then slowly turn toward you so that keys are down on the top of your notebook. Be careful not to damage the LCD panel.
11 Pull on the plastic connector Dell Inspiron 1545 keyboard with two fingers. After the connector is positioned high, pull the cable connector. Be careful not to touch or damage any other component.
