help with laptop screen?
hello when I turn on my philips x57 laptop freevents i only see a blank screen then dims darker and I can not see anything. brightness controls on the work of the keyboard. When I connect my laptop to my plasma TV i do not see a blank screen and comes on my plasma. in plasma but his madness. theres different colored dashed lines everywhere and change individual letters in different colored text, like a nightclub. is about 8-bit graphics of the game club. does not even boot windows, only see the statup and loading screen. so if the graphics are acting all crazy on my external display (plasma), does say that the GPU / motherboard is defective? or is the inverter, cable or the lcd screen on my laptop is defective? thanks
It is likely that none of the above. Behold how the repair process to what you're describing (The contrast and color of the issues that arise during POST screens early start): Let's say that something strange is happening on the laptop screen (and can be anything ... the lines, bars, issues contrast, etc), but something is obviously not related to Windows. The first thing we do is connect the laptop to a different monitor (like it did w / in the plasma). We connect a different monitor to determine if the problem is with the LCD screen w / the video card. If it were only appears on the computer screen portable, but not an external display, then the problem is with laptop LCD components. If the problem (otherwise) the transfer to the external monitor, then the problem is with the video card. Your video card is probably damaged and will need to be replaced, based on the previous events. Hopefully your warranty is still valid. A few portable video removable cards, and if yours is one of them, then this will only be a replacement video card. If your laptop has the video driver more common on board, then the motherboard will be replaced. Their tests showed the video card is bad, and I am offering an analysis =) The possible variables involved due to the plasma screen I want you to do this test in the same regular LCD monitor ... only to be sure!.
