Symptoms that indicate the follows: 1) the keyboard stops working if the num lock and caps lock is at the same time (you need to restart or reconnect to the PS2 port 2) USB optical mouse works erratically (in the movement of the pointer), but works well .. click to reconnect to the USB port firmly to make work. symptoms against the above scanner works USB port (which can work even at low current) without any visible problems. NO PINS six in PS / 2 keyboard port, and one that was perhaps to fix firmly ANY WAY MORE, THIS MAY BE THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM, as the MOUSE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM EVEN IF THE KEYBOARD IS UNPLUGGED. Also maybe the cable (like PS2 port) on a keyboard or change the cables are not available and the keyboard itself has to be changed? ... Thanks u very much 4 ur reply
Someone told a friend in need is a friend indeed ... So go to a friend and ask for your keyboard and mouse and see .. be sure to check your keyboard and mouse to your system .. just so you know if its the ports that have gone wrong (very unlikely) or keyb and mouse
