Wii MotionPlus
The Wii MotionPlus is an attachment for the original Wii Remote that vastly increases the sensitivity and precision of the original device. Every subtle movement you make with your hand, from a gentle flick of the wrist to a sweeping swing of your arm is replicated exactly on screen. Look for games specifically designed to take advantage of the Wii MotionPlus, such as Grand Slam Tennis, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10, and Red Steel 2. You can purchase the Wii MotionPlus separately, or find it bundled with many new games such as Wii Sports Resort. This Wii accessory costs $19.99.
Wii Balance Board
The Wii Balance Board is a rectangular plastic board that users stand on to control the game. This allows for hands free operation of the Wii console that is entirely dictated by shifts in weight and the movement of your feet. The Wii Balance Board is designed to get gamers off of the couch and get some basic exercise while they game. Although the device seem rudimentary, it's quite amazing how it can judge the movements of your entire body simply by the way you stand on it. The Wii Balance Board comes bundled with Wii Fit. It's compatible with other games as well, such as Punch-Out!! and Super Monkey Ball.
Wii Wheel
The Wii Wheel, as you might imagine, is a racing wheel designed for driving games like Mario Kart Wii and Need for Speed. However, unlike a conventional racing wheel, it doesn't spin on a mounted platform, and it doesn't have to be fastened to a desk or table to work properly. The Wii Wheel is a free-floating miniature steering wheel that features a slot for snapping in a standard Wii Remote. Turning the wheel in midair will translate to your character (or vehicle, as it may be) turning onscreen. The Wii Wheel can be purchased separately, and it's also bundled with ExciteBots: Trick Racing.
Wii Zapper
The Wii Zapper is basically a light gun that allows you to play shooting games on you Wii with the most intuitive interactivity possible. The Wii Zapper includes receptacles for both the Wii Remote and Wii Nunchuk. You use the stick mounted on the Nunchuk to move your character while blasting enemies with the Zapper itself. The Wii Zapper comes bundled with Link's Crossbow Training, and it support other shooting games like Resident Evil, Dark Space, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as well.
